Star of Bethlehem Festival For Kids Brings Family Fun to Downtown Bethlehem on June 5
Festival to feature kid-friendly events and entertainment
BETHLEHEM, PA (June 2, 2016) – Downtown Bethlehem is usually ripe with festivals for grown ups during the summer months. The upcoming Star of Bethlehem Festival for Kids gives the little ones their chance at getting in on the fun.
The free annual festival will take place on Sunday, June 5 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Daniel E. Rice Plaza, commonly known as the Celtic Classic field, at 100 W. Lehigh Street.
The Star of Bethlehem Festival for Kids will feature numerous hands-on events and fun entertainment from Make A Chia, Artists in Residence, Lehigh Valley Zoo, Fun with Science, The Goddard Center, Bethlehem Public Library, Hope Lock Kennels, Leading Edge Martial Arts, Dual Language Charter School, and Hope Lock Kennels.

“The Mission of the Star of Bethlehem Festival is to showcase and celebrate the diversity, culture, and spirit of the community, while providing learning experiences for children in the arts and sciences through hands on participation,” said Star of Bethlehem Festival President, George Sobetsky. “The Star of Bethlehem Festival will present creative, participatory events for the City of Bethlehem to nurture and share a sense of community spirit.”
